A man who shocked many people by failing to attend his own church wedding ceremony, has given a really weird explanation as to why he did it.

A groom from Tanzania has given many people the shock of their lives after he failed to attend his own church wedding.
Now he is blaming his absence on the devil.
Speaking with Amani newspaper on the matter, Samuel John Mwakalobo said that he did not make his way to church to exchange wedding vows with his fiancée Given Michael Mgaya because the devil made him to snub the function.
The wedding was scheduled to take place at Kanisa la Kiinjili la Kilutheri Tanzania (KKKT) in Mbeya and thereafter, a reception at Mkapa Conference Center.
“Families of either party are divided over the man’s behaviour. When the groom was asked why he snubbed his wedding, he did not give a concrete reason. Earlier, he had shown every sign of coorporation. I think he’d come across unappealing information (about the bride) that made him change his mind,” a source told Amani newspaper.
When the outlet reached the groom for comment, he said someone must have bewitched him to snub his own wedding, maintaining he dearly loves his fiancee.
“I blame the devil for what transpired. I don’t know how my partner perceived my action. Honestly. I love her only; there’s no other woman who can take her place in my heart.”
The reception, nonetheless, went on as planned, but without the groom and his bride.
Relatives and friends who contributed toward meeting the wedding budget were refunded their money.
It is reported that the man has apologised for his action, and is currently in good terms with his flame.
