A Nigerian soldier was pictured injured after a confrontation with Boko Haram members in the north-eastern part of the country.

A Nigerian soldier identified as Abdulrahman Idris escaped death by the whiskers after being shot in the leg during a gun battle with Boko Haram terrorists in Cameroon on Sunday.
The gallant soldier is responding well to treatment at a military hospital, according to reports.
