Some men of the undergrounds who might have used the reason of economic recession and attempted to steal cable in FCT Abuja, were caught by the residents of the area.
The two cable thieves
Some local thieves were caught earlier today at the Area 8 in the Garki area of the federal capital territory, Abuja, while attempting to steal cable from the ground.
Can the current economic recession be blamed for acts like this, because people who do not indulge in criminal activities are still surviving?
As at the time of filing this report, it was not ascertained if the angry mob later handed over the criminals to the appropriate security authorities or whether they served the thieves jungle justice.
