The Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) advocacy group co-convener, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, who just returned from a visit to the Sambisa forest was saddened by the news of the Nigerian army
bombing an Internally Displaced Peoples camp by mistake leading to several deaths and injuries.
The vocal and powerful woman attributed the avoidable and costly mishap to an act of "intelligence failure" on the part of the Nigerian army.
There are conflicting reports about the casualty rate, some media outfits have reported 52 died while over 100 innocent civilians were injured.
President Muhammadu Buhari has since regretted the accident and commiserated with the families of the victims.
