Revealed: 6 Issues Tompolo Will Discuss With the Ex-militant Warlords in Bayelsa

Tension has continued to build up as the meeting of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) warlords is slated to hold in Bayelsa state on Saturday, 25th July, 2015.

 
The Niger Delta and of course the whole of Nigeria has been thrown into tension since the notice of a meeting of warlords was sent by Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) to all the senior ex-Mend members.
 
The meeting of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) warlords  is slated to hold in Bayelsa state on Saturday, 25th July, 2015.
 
According to sources, these are the major topics to be discussed at the meeting between former Generals of MEND.
 
1. The statement credited to former President Olusegun Obasanjo that the alleged poor performance of former President Goodluck Jonathan would continue to affect the Niger Delta region.

2. The issue of the planned probe and possible arrest of former President Jonathan.

3. Delay in appointing the head of the amnesty programme.

4. Non-payment of three months allowances and scholarship fees to former militants undergoing training in the country and abroad.

5. Composition and structure of the new Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND).

6. Cause of action to take about the actions of President Buhari since his assumption of office.
