The Yobe state police command have arrested and paraded a seven-man armed robbery gang said to be terrorizing Kakuri-Daudari axis along Nguru-Kano road.

A 7-man notorious armed robbery gang identified has been arrested and paraded by the Yobe State Police Command.
The suspectes are Shuaibu Audu, 52, Buba Alhaji Amodu, 36, Muhammed Musa, 25, Adamu Musa Maiwake, 27, Ardo Ado Adoro, 46, Gagare Lamido Shirgo, 30, and Garba Tiya, 18.
The gang has been reportedly causing mayhem at the Kakuri-Daudari axis along Nguru-Kano road. They allagedly met their end after they robbed a businessman, injuring him and killing his driver on the 15th of July, 2015.
The arrest was made possible through painstakingly police intelligence made available to the detectives. Weapons used in the crime have been recovered.
The suspects will be charged to court for the offenses of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery and culpable homicide as credible evidence to secure their conviction have been gathered by the police force.
