A woman has shocked many people with her unbelievable act after throwing her own baby in front of a moving train.
A woman identified as Autumn Mataccheira, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder for allegedly throwing a child she didn't know in front of a Light Rail Train, News 12 New Jersey reports.
Police were initially called to High and Broad streets in Burlington City for suspicious activity.
When officers arrived and approached Autumn Mataccheira, 20, they say she grabbed a 5-year-old girl, who she didn't know, and threw her onto the tracks.
Back-up officers were able to quickly get the approaching train to stop as the child was removed from the tracks by her mother's boyfriend.
The girl suffered bruises and cuts but is expected to be OK.
