President Buhari is set to meet with the APC reps in a bid to settle the differences among the National Assembly members and its leadership.
Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to meet with the APC members of the House of Representatives today, Monday, July 27, 2015.
President Buhari's meeting is aimed at resolving the National Assembly leadership crisis which has been rocking the APC since June.
The Senate and House of Reps are set to resume on Tuesday, July 28, about a month after adjournments were announced.
Muhammadu Buhari’s meeting with the reps has been confirmed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will be meeting with the APC members of the House of Representatives at the new Banquet Hall of the State House on Monday at 5pm,” Shehu said.
The meeting will be Buhari’s first with all the APC legislators since he assumed office on May 29.
