A morning inferno has engulfed a busy business building at the popular Balogun market in Lagos Island.

A building where ankara cloths and traditional fabrics are sold at the popular Balogun market in the Lagos Island area of Africa's largest city have been engulfed by an inferno this Wednesday morning.
According to Premium Times, some eyewitnesses revealed that a generator explosion was heard shortly before the inferno.
As at the time of filing this report, the number of casualties recorded, extent of damage or the real reason for the fire incident, were not ascertained as fire fighters are currently trying to put out the fire.
