A fatal accident has claimed the life of four okada riders after a truck lost control causing the death of the men.

An over-speeding trailer has crushed four commercial motorcyclists to death on Monday in Abuja after ramming into a Toyota Camry car.
The trailer rammed into the Camry forcing it to lose control and crush the men to death.
It was gathered that the incident happened at the popular Dutse-Alhaji Junction along Murtala Muhammed Expressway (Kubwa Road), Abuja. The motorcyclists were waiting for passengers beside the Public Service Institute when the sad incident happened.
Four were confirmed dead while five others who sustained serious injuries were rushed to Kubwa General Hospital for medical attention.
The spokesman for the Federal Road Safety Corps, Bisi Kazeem, while confirming the accident said the accident was as a result of speed violation, mechanical deficient vehicle and dangerous driving.
He added that one of the corpses had been released to his family for burial while other bodies were deposited at the Kubwa General Hospital morgue.
