Fraudsters Nabbed With Fake Currencies in Bauchi (Photo)

A 3-man 419 syndicate specializing in the usage of both local and international currencies have been arrested by the police in Bauchi state.

Following the arrest of some fraudsters dealing in both local and international fake currencies by the Bauchi state Police Command on the 12th of July, 2015, further investigations have led to the arrest of three other suspected criminals with their photo above.
 
The arrest was made on Sunday, 26th of July.
 
Their names have been given as Abdullahi Usman, 35; Idriss Manu, 35; and Mohammed Usman, 30, all of Birshi Gandu ward in Bauchi.

Exhibits recovered from them include 600 pieces of 100 American US Dollars suspected to be counterfeit, white Highlander Jeep with REG number KWL 354 LS, cutlass and some clothes.

DSP Haruna Mohammed, PPRO Bauchi State Police command has revealed the suspects will soon be charged to court for prosecution.
