Silerbird group founder and CEO, Senator Ben Murray Bruce, has taken to his social media page to reveal that there’s a budget of N40 million to feed wildlife in the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, and bemoaned why that budget should be when millions of Nigerians can barely feed.

The lawmaker representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, on his Twitter handle ‏@benmurraybruce, wrote: “It breaks my heart that at a time when many Nigerians can’t eat, we are budgeting N40 million to feed wildlife in Aso Rock Presidential Villa!

“At N510 to a dollar, #BuyNaijaToGrow TheNaira is no luxury, it is not even a necessity. Nigeria has reached the stage where it’s a necessity!

“I celebrate the ICPC for buying made in Aba bags and call on other MDAs of the government to join the #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira movement!

“As someone who has over the years advocated for the FG to legalize illegal refineries, I commend the VP and urge him to put action to words,” he added.
