A woman who thought her man loved her so much has been left devastated after finding out that he was cheating with two other women.

A BRIDE-TO-BE was left heartbroken after discovering her love rat fiance was having an affair with towo different women and even cancelled dates with her to be with them,

The woman identified as Amy Hands, 23, found out childhood sweetheart Liam Murphy was cheating when she received a message from one of the girls containing a picture of them together.
After the discovery, Amy confronted Murphy who confessed about the affairs. Following the sad incident, Amy moved on and even shed some weight. She was terribly hurt because she truly loved Murphy.
She recalled: “He soon became a firm member of the family. Liam lived with his parents just around the corner from us and was best friends with two of my brothers. My parents loved him too.
“We barely ever argued and after five years together, I knew Liam inside out.”
When Liam got down on one knee in front of all her loved ones on New Years Eve in December 2014, Amy didn’t hesitate in saying yes.
She said: “We were still so young, so agreed on a long engagement, but I couldn’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my perfect man.”
As Valentine’s Day loomed in 2015, Amy told how she was excited to be spending a romantic night out with her future husband, who had promised her a “big surprise”.
But as she dolled herself up, she got a message from Liam.
She said: “When I picked up my phone, my heart sank. He said he was too ill to go out.
“I felt so let down, I couldn’t believe my man was bailing on the most romantic weekend of the year.
“But Liam sounded so poorly with man flu, I couldn’t help but feel bad for him. He definitely needed some rest.
“I told him to take care of himself and accepted my Valentine’s Day night in alone.”
But when a girl popped up in Amy’s suggested friends list on Facebook, with a photo of her and Liam as her profile picture, she grew suspicious.
She explained: “I trawled through her profile and found loads of picture of her and my fiance.
“I confronted Liam but he insisted she was just a mate, and that she was a bit obsessed with him.
“It seemed a bit odd, but I accepted his explanation. After all, I had no reason to doubt him and I knew he’d never lie to me.”
Liam was ‘confined to his sick bed’ for the whole of Valentine’s weekend so Amy didn’t see him, but he promised to take her away for a mini break to make up for cancelling their plans.
But a month later, he still hadn’t whisked her off anywhere.
Amy said: “I didn’t think anything of it. I had a ring on my finger – that’s all the commitment I needed.”
But then one night, Amy was enjoying an evening to herself when her phone flashed with a message from someone she didn’t recognise.
It read: “You don’t know who I am, but I’m Liam’s girlfriend, I had no idea you were with him.”
Amy explained: “My jaw fell open in shock. I read and re-read the message over and over but it didn’t make sense.
“Liam was my fiance, we’d never had a cross word. I felt the bile rise in my throat as I quickly typed a message back to demand answers. But her response floored me.”
The girl sent Amy a photo of her and Liam looking cosy together the day before Valentine’s Day.
Amy said: “I was stunned. It was when our Valentine’s date had been planned for – when Liam was supposedly in bed sick.”
The pair continued messaging and Amy discovered Liam and the other girl had been dating for seven months.
Amy admitted: “I felt sick and my heart broke. Liam had been carrying on with this other woman when he’d proposed. It was almost too much to bear.
“I called him and told him we needed to talk, that I knew everything.
“I felt so humiliated and when Liam turned up at my house, the look on his face said it all. It was true.
“He broke down, confessing everything. I was devastated as Liam’s double life unravelled – but worse was to come.
“He admitted he had also cheated with the girl on Facebook who had him in her profile picture.
“My world fell apart in that moment. It didn’t make sense, I thought we were happy.
“I demanded to know why he’d done it, and he just said we’d been together so long, he just never got round to telling me he wanted to break up.
“He said he didn’t mean to fall in love with someone else.”
Amy was heartbroken after the split and it took her a long time to get over the betrayal of her first love.
But she refused to let him ruin her future.
Amy said: “I focused on my own health and happiness and after joining Slimming World, I lost three-and-a-half stone.
“Now, I’m loving single life and I look and feel fantastic.
“Liam’s other woman actually did me a favour when she messaged me and revealed what a rat he really is.
“I still can’t believe my fiance took another woman out for Valentine’s Day, but I know I’m better off without him.”
In response to Amy’s story, Liam said: “To be honest I didn’t deal with the situation very well.
“We’d been together for so long, obviously I’m not making excuses but it’s one of those things that happened and it’s done now.
“Splitting up with her Amy was like losing a family, two of my best mates were her brothers.”
