A randy nurse who brutally raped a young patient at a hospital is still on the run after many days of committing the crime.

The photo of a randy nurse, Taurai Mazarura who raped a patient on Sunday before escaping has been released online. The man it has been learnt is still on the run as the case is now pending in court.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police said yesterday they were seeking for information on the whereabouts of Taurai Mazarura, a registered general nurse who fled after he was allegedly caught having s*x with a patient, reports H-metro.
“I can confirm that the ZRP is seeking information on the whereabouts of the nurse who allegedly raped a patient at Parirenyatwa Hospital and ran away,” said national police spokesperson, Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi.
The 32-year-old is said to have walked into Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals Ward A1 where a 17-year-old patient was admitted and closed cubicles curtains, before raping her.
When another nurse caught him, he escaped by jumping down the building and has not been seen ever since.
The victim, a street kid, who had been admitted after she was hit by a car and sustained injuries is receiving appropriate medical care and counselling after the incident.
