A school in a bid to stem out examination malpractice has invented a simple system for students to write exams without copying from others.

The Chinese students writing examination in open-air ground

According to People's China Daily, a southwest China’s college shocked students by inventing a new technique that would curb examination malpractice as it made thousands of students sit on ground in open-air to take exams.

Recently, 2,000 students from Sichuan Aihua College in southwest China were seen taking an exam on school’s playground. Sitting directly on the ground and using small stools as desks, students were tested with “student behavior norms”, “studying norms”, “school rules” and so on.

In order to invigilate this open-air exam, teachers had to use telescopes and microphones. According to the principle, the college has organized such kind of exams for 5 years.
