According to the Dailymail, Ahmed al-Sokani, 35, from Gaza who has already served 13 of his 27years sentence reportedly smuggled sperm from jail to his wife Huwayda who gave birth recently to twins at Gaza City's Al-Quds Hospital.
Al-Sokani's wife Huwayda gave birth this week to twins named Motaz and Siwar.
According to Abdullah Qandil, a spokesman for the Waed Captive and Liberators Society, a Palestinian non-governmental organisation, some 50 children have been born from smuggled sperm - 10 of them in the Gaza Strip and 40 in the West Bank.
When asked how exactly sperm was smuggled out of Israeli jails, sources spoken to have so far refrained from answering due to security reasons.
