Kebbi State House of Assmbly yesterday suspended two of its members from  attending the bussiness of the house for six months for gross misconduct.

Chairman disciplinary committee of the house, Hon. Barrister Hamza N D Bello told newsmen in Birnin Kebbi that their suspension was as a result of security reports that the two members were involved in demonstration and shouts in Suru town against Governor Abubakar Bagudu during a condolence visit on Monday.

"A motion was moved by house leader, Hon Yakubu Bello to suspend the two members following our recommendation to house and the house adopted the motion. They were suspended for six months.’’
said Barrister Bello.

He added that the house also recommended that after the expiration of the suspension notice, they should write an apology letter to both house and the Governor before they could be accepted as members of the house.
