I’m 32 and my husband is 34. We’ve been married for ten years and have two lovely sons. My neighbour is two years older than me with a plain, stay-at-home sort of wife who’s the same age as him.
They have three kids and I realised a long time ago that he was bored with his wife and he fancied me loads. It all came together one night when my husband was off with our boys for a weekend away.
My neighbour’s wife had taken their children away to her mum’s and it seemed like a chance that I couldn’t let go. I invited him in for a beer. I was totally honest and said that I wanted to see him alone for a change as my sad little life was so desperately dull.
He was there on my doorstep before I’d hung up. We chatted at first and I turned up the flirting sky high. He was up for some fun just like I was — I’d have felt very silly otherwise.
