A serving member of the National Youth Service Corps has been badly brutalized by men of the Nigeria Police Force in Zamfara State.

Youth Corps members in Zamfara State are currently protesting in the Kaura Namoda area of the state over the detention of one of them.
According to a report by Punch Metro, the detained corper was reportedly taken by the police on the orders of a rich man because he punished his ward.
Michael, who is serving at Nasara Standard Academy in Kauwas was today brutalised, manhandled and reduced to nothingness, according to the report.
Michael was said to have punished a student who happens to be a rich man’s ward by simply asking him to go on his knees.
However, angered by the action of Michael, the unnamed rich man ordered policemen to get the corper arrested, who punched and subjected him to dehumanising situation.
Now, other corpers have taken to the street to demand his immediate release.
