The Nigerian army has announced the appointment of a new army spokesperson.
Maj.-Gen. John Enenche is the new Director, Defence Information.
Maj.-Gen. John Enenche has been appointed as the new Director, Defence Information. A statement by Lt.Cmdr. Way Olabisi on behalf of the DDI on Tuesday said that Enenche replaced Brig.-Gen. Rabe Abubakar.
According to Olabisi, Abubakar is now the Director of Information Management in the Department of Civil Military Affairs, Army Headquarters.
“Until his appointment as the new defence spokesman, Maj.-Gen. Enenche was the Defence Liaison Officer at the Defence Headquarters.
“He has since taken over with effect from March 6, 2017,’’ Olabisi said.
