Student Expelled from the University of Ibadan over Abusive Social Media Comments

A student of the premier university in Nigeria has been shown the exit door over an alleged gross misconduct on his part.

A 200 Level student of the University of Ibadan identified as Anyanwu Kingsley has been expelled from the South-western higher institution.
 
According to reports gathered, the accused insulted not only the Vice Chancellor of the institution but also other principal officers and high ranking personalities.
 
It was reported that Anyanwu made some comments on the Student Union page during the massive protest tagged #freemote. The comments were considered as abusive as it was directed against the VC.
 
Rumours have it that U.I is the 2nd school Anyanwu has been expelled from though it has been denied by the person in question. All efforts to get the statement of Mr. Anyanwu Kingsley failed as at press time.
 
According to one of his close friends who pleaded anonymity, Anyanwu is planning on challlenging the decision made by the management of the University by appealing at the court of law in the next 14 days.
