A young 25-year-old woman has shocked everyone after she took a rope and hanged herself on a reservoir.

It is a sad story for the family of a 25-year-old lady identified as Leticia Amartey who killed herself on Monday March 13, 2017 by hanging on a reservoir near Ekye Presbyterian Health Center in Affram Plains South District of the Eastern Region, Ghana.
According to MyNewsGH, it is not clear what triggered the deceased to commit that act in the wake of the widespread suicide cases that have been recorded in parts of the country in recent times.
An eyewitness one Ishmeal Asukaa Bediatuo, said the deceased was taking care of her mother who is on admission at the facility but was found hanging on the reservoir after she was reported missing Sunday night.
The deceased gained access to the reservoir through the stairs and hanged herself at the top of it using a rope. Police in the area have confirmed the incident and have commenced investigations.
