President Muhammadu Buhari caused quite a stir during the Federal Executive Council when he joked about a popular minister.

There was a mild drama at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, on Wednesday, which was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The president, who started the meeting on a humorous note, after the rendition of the National Anthem, called on Minister of Transportation Rotimi Ameachi to offer the Christian prayer.
After Amaechi’s prayer, President Buhari looked round and said, “I have not seen Lai.”
Apparently taken aback, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Lai Mohammed, shouted, “I am here sir.”
This elicited laughter from other members of the council.
President Buhari then asked the Information minister to say the Muslim prayers.
