The Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade was left shedding tears after being informed of the sad condition of the internally displaced Bakassi people.

There was a mournful look on the face of Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, who couldn't hold back tears after he was informed of the sad and shocking plight of the Bakassi people as he granted an audience to the Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria, Hajia Sadiya Umar Farouq, in his office in Calabar yesterday.
 
 
The Governor used the opportunity to call for help on the plight of the internally displaced persons in Nigeria who are really suffering. He called for assistance from well-meaning Nigerians to support the needy and make things better in Nigeria.
