Some armed men have double-crossed a former Etsako East local government area of Edo State and assassinated him.

A former chairman of Etsáko East local government area of Edo State, Suleiman Afegbua, has been reportedly assassinated by unknown gunmen in broad daylight.
Family sources said he was killed on Thursday morning along Benin-Auchi road.
One of his cousins who refused to be named confirmed the killing to The Nation saying: “You know he is a Muslim. We are expecting further information on how he will be buried.”
