Boko Haram fighters have touched a remote area in the north-eastern part of the country with casualties recorded.

Borno State Deputy Governor, Hon Usman Durkwa on behalf of Borno State Governor, Gov Kashim Shettima visited the scene where Boko Haram terrorists attacked Magumeri town yesterday Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at about 5:30pm.
They attacked only police station and Nigeria Army base in Magumeri. One soldier was killed while another sustained injuries.
Also one armoured car was burnt down, other cars and the car of the DPO of Magumeri were also destroyed by Boko Haram. The sect has continued to orchestrate surprise attacks and suicide operations despite being decimated by the Nigerian army.
