N100 Centenary Note To Go Into Circulation This Friday

The apex bank in Nigeria, CBN has announced that the commemorative N100 banknote that was unveiled recently by President Goodluck Jonathan will officially go into circulation by Friday, December 19.

 
The apex bank in Nigeria, CBN has announced that the commemorative N100 banknote  that was unveiled recently by President Goodluck Jonathan will officially go into circulation by Friday, December 19.

The new note will be launched by the CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele at a ceremony in Abuja on Friday and at the same time be issued by branches of  CBN nation wide
 

The commemorative note, which is embedded with features to assist the visually impaired recognize genuine notes, also has other security features easily identifiable through look, feel and tilt of the currency note.
