Villagers have been given the shock of their lives after their queen was found stone dead hanging from the ceiling.

Zodumo Vundla-Mzimela, the 32-year-old wife of a South African king, Thanda Mzimela, the Inkosi of Mthunzini town near Empangeni, KZN, has died.
The woman was found hanging from the ceiling at her workplace in Rex Henderson Road in Empangeni on Tuesday.
According to Daily Sun SA, Zodumo allegedly accused her husband, inkosi Thanda Mzimela of cheating on her several times.
According to a family member Zodumo’s two-year-marriage had problems involving nyatsis.
“We were aware that she was accusing her husband of cheating but we never took it seriously because we thought she was handling it because she was always smiling to hide what was going on,” said the relative.
Her Facebook posts reveal a woman who was going through challenges, but relatives didn’t take them seriously when she was still alive.
“In a post in August, she compared herself to a dead person walking and said she understood why people killed themselves,” a relative said.
The relative never imagined the posts were a sign she was suicidal.
Captain Nqobile Gwala said: “The body of a 32-year-old woman was found hanging at Rex Henderson Road. Empangeni police are investigating.”
Family spokesman John Mzimela said: “We don’t recall the queen ever calling the elders to report unhappiness in her marriage.”
Zodumo was married to Thanda, the Mthunzini-based Mzimela clan inkosi. The couple was expecting a third child.
John said the unborn baby will be buried today. Zodumo will be buried on Sunday.
