Toyin Saraki, the wife of Senate President Bukola Saraki, yesterday, 30th of July completed her second interrogation session with the officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) which lasted for over 5 hours.

A source has revealed to SaharaReporters that there is a possibility of her return after due analysis of her responses to questions are weighed against the evidences against her.

It would be recalled that Toyin Saraki is being investigated on her suspected involvement in laundering funds allegedly looted during her husband, Bukola Saraki's two-term tenure as governor of Kwara State.

SaharaReporters had disclosed how Senate President Saraki and his wife collaborated in looting funds from Kwara state using fictitious names of depositors. The couple also scammed numerous other banks by taking out dubious loans, and plundering funds belonging to Kwara State.

An undisclosed EFCC investigator told SaharaReporters that Toyin Saraki knows her indictment is far from over.

“She left knowing that there is a strong case against her,” the source said.

According to the EFCC source, all the allegations leveled against her are connected with her husband, Senate President Bukola Saraki's corrupt activities in Kwara state.
