A Cambridge University economist who once attended a meeting unclad is campaigning and defending prostitution, saying that women have as much right as men to make money from their bodies.

A Cambridge University Economist, Dr. Victoria Bateman, who had some months ago, made major headline after she attended a faculty meeting n*ked with the words ‘Brexit leaves Britain n*ked’ written across her breasts, has said banning prostitution was well-meaning s*xism.
According to a report by Punch Metro, Victoria said that women have as much right as men to make money from their bodies, pointing out that men have been praised for choosing violent careers.

The economist warned that economists should be consistent in the way they treat male-dominated industries and female-dominated ones.
She said: "The inconsistent treatment of a largely female profession compared with a largely male profession is nothing other than sexism under the cover of “well-meaning” paternalism.
"Those engaging in consensual sex work need to be helped to benefit from the markets that work with them rather than against them. The neglect of the s*x trade is an eloquent symbol of fact that women are under-represented among economists."
In July last year, Bateman attended a faculty meeting naked in protest at the EU referendum result.
She had written ‘Brexit leaves Britain n*ked’ on her breasts and stomach when she joined around 30 directors of studies at the economics faculty meeting on Wednesday to discuss teaching material and courses.
Sources said the two-hour meeting, which was chaired by Nigel Knight, director of studies at Churchill College, went ahead as normal without anyone mentioning her nudity.
