A man who had the evil aim to rob a victim on Facebook, has accidentally disclosed his intention to his intended victim.

A thief who had intended to rob someone that advertised a sale in the social media mistakenly sent his would-be victim a message informing that he would rob the seller.

The thief had been chatting with the seller and they had agreed on the price.

They were yet to agree to the pick-up location, but he was already carried away by the thoughts of what he would do with the proceeds of the robbery that he sent what was to have been a message on the side-lines to a friend of his, whom he had invited to come and help with the robbery.

Inviting another thieving friend, the criminal had written in social media lingo: “Awryt mate am goiny meet some geezer for a new putter, wanty come with me and we’ll just do him in and take it off him lol”

When he realised his dastardly error, he tried to assure his intended victim by saying: “Sh-t that was meant for ma pal (sic). But its not about you. Where do u live.”

Unknown to the robber, his message simply landed on the Facebook chat page of his intended victim.

And though he tried to convince the man that the gaffe was neither meant for him nor a confirmation of an impending robbery action, the seller was simply grateful that the mistake happened.

The thief wanted to know the meeting point, but he didn’t get the address.
