The actor's wife dismissed rumours that he is mad and now begs for money in public.

Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu is not mad and that is according to his wife, Jennifer Azuzu.
Mrs. Asuzu, who got married to the actor in 2010, in an interview with Yes! International magazine, was reacting to widespread rumours that he'd run amock and now begging for alms.
"Will you advise your own sister to marry a mental person or somebody who is mad? That's the answer to that question. It's his enemies that are mad, not my husband", Jennifer fired back at the reporter, who reached her to hear her side of the rumours.
She, however, confirmed previous reports that her husband suffered stroke last year, saying it was partial and he has recovered. "He had partial stroke last year. The stroke came from nowhere. But my joy is that if you see him now, you won't know", she said, adding that reading negative stories about her husband leaves her feeling bad.
"...any time I hear negative stories about him or read them, of a truth, I feel bad. I feel really, really bad", she said.
