Omg! Man Caught in Possession of Cultism Documents in Lagos...and This Happened

A man who was found being in possession of cultism materials in a Lagos State community, has been nabbed.

 
The police on Wednesday arraigned a 34-year-old man, Chimezie Ugbaja in a Surulere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, for being in possession of letters belonging to NEO Black Movement of Africa, a secret society group.
 
Ugbaja, whose address was not provided, is facing two-count charge of possession of a secret society document and ‎assisting in the management of a secret cult.
 
The prosecutor, Sgt. Christopher Okoliko, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 15 at about 1.15 a.m., along Nnobi Street, Ikate-Surulere, Lagos State.
 
Okoliko said that the defendant had in his possession, a letter belonging to NEO Black Movement of Africa, Aye Secret Cult.
 
He added that the act showed that Ugbaja was assisting in the management of the cult, known to be an unlawful society.
 
According to him, the offences contravened sections 42(a) and 41 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011.
 
However, the defendant pleaded not guilty and the Chief Magistrate, Mr A.A Paul, granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
 
He said one of the sureties must reside in his property in Lagos State, while the other must be gainfully employed.
 
The magistrate also ordered that the sureties should provide evidence of tax payment with their addresses verified.
 
He adjourned the matter until April 10 for mention.
