A quite serious fire outbreak at the Aminu Kano International Airport has caused some confusion in the area.

What has been described as a mysterious fire engulfed the fuel drop of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, on Wednesday.
Daily Post reports that the fire, which started around 7.45am Wednesday, forced residents of the area to flee their homes.
Men of the air port fire service have, however, been deployed to quench the fire that gutted the fuel drop.
The airport’s fuel drop is located within the striking distance of domestic arrival hall adjacent vast space that housed corner shops.
The airport’s officials have refused to comment on the incident as concerted effort are being sustained to contained the fire.
