A very serious auto crash on Ikorodu road happened on Tuesday morning involving multiple heavy duty vehicles
A fuel tanker, a huge truck and about three other cars were involved according to eyewitness reports.
Eyewitnesses say the trailer lost control and hit a sedan.
The traffic, which happened around Anthony bus stop inwards Fadeyi-Ojuelegba, saw people scooping fuel in buckets as it spilled from the tanker.
It should be noted that traffic on this route is normally heavy early in the morning on workdays, therefore, we advise motorists to use alternate routes as the traffic begins to build up along the road.
Motorists are also advised to keep to the service lane.
It remains unknown as at press time whether any lives were lost in the accident.
LASTMA officials and firemen are already at the scene of the accident trying to ease the traffic.
