A n*ked woman with webbed toes has been found walking the streets through Californian streets and claiming to be a mermaid.
According to The Sun UK, cops have appealed for help in identifying the mystery woman who was discovered with wet hair and wearing just a sports bra in California.
She is believed told authorities she is called Joanna and answers “I don’t know” to most questions.
Lieutenent Mark Hudson, of Fresno Police, told YourCentralValley.com: “She was wet, she said she had been in the lake, said she needed help and needed to be taken to the hospital.”
Joanna was seen walking in the middle of the street near a Eagle Spring Golf & Country Club in Friant.
Lt Hudson added: “‘We did go through records after fingerprinting her and we still did not come up with her identity.”
She was found about 3.15am on Tuesday.
Fresno Police said the woman is aged 16-30 years old with brown eyes, brown hair.
She is 5ft 4in, weighs 150lbs and has webbed toes on both of her feet.
