The above picture of a sick child being treated in a quack way outside an hospital in a place alleged to be Zamfara State has been making rounds on social media.
The frail-looking child laid on the bare floor while the drip was amateurishly administered to her by some men assumed to be health workers.
The build-up of the oddity is currently unknown.
A concerned Nigerian based in the United Kingdom has raised the alarm and called for urgent intervention. This again exposes the bleeding state of healthcare in Nigeria which has forced privileged people including the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari to seek improved treatment abroad.
