It seems like the anti-corruption war being fought by President Muhammadu Buhari has been put into question following loss of top profile cases.

Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former aide to Ex-President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption war is only successful in the media. He stated this on social media while lambasting the President's economic plan as a failure for failing to take off since.

He wrote: “President Buhari’s Anti-corruption war has been more successful in the media than in court.

“His economic plan is however successful nowhere.”

This is coming on the heels of recent reports in which the EFCC and Attorney-General's office lost top cases against constitutional lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, Justice Adeniyi Ademola and recently the unfreezing of ex-first lady, Dame Jonathan's account.
