Popular Nigerian Musician Battling Cancer for Months is Dead

A popular Nigerian singer in the 70s to 90s with the evergreen song 'Come Back Love' has died after battling cancer.

A Warri-based Nigerian singer, Tony Grey who was diagnosed of prostate cancer and diabetes has died after being on the sick bed for months.
 
According to TopCelebritiesNg, the Ozimba crooner was said to have needed funds for medical treatment abroad but it was not forthcoming which reportedly contributed to his untimely death.
 
Information gathered revealed that chairman of Onuesoke Foundation, Chief Sunny Onuesoke and the friends of Tony Grey in conjunction with his foundation tried to rescue the musician who had touched the lives of many through his music by contributing the sum of N512,000 for his treatment.
 
 
Unfortunately, Grey died before help could reach him. He was most popular in the 70’s, 80s and 90’s in the old Bendel state now Edo/Delta states with the evergreen song 'Come Back Love'.
