The CEO of Ebony life Television, Mo Abudu, who was dragged into the recent discovery of cash by EFCC at an apartment in Ikoyi, has issued a statement to clear her name.

Earlier today, we reported that the Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, Lere Olayinka, alleged that the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, owns the house where the alleged looted money was found by the anti-graft agency, EFCC.

He also fingered Mo Abudu, the CEO of Ebony Life TV.

"Rotimi Amaechi bought TWO of the flats (7A AND 7B). He then gave 7A to MO ABUDU, the TV presenter, who is suspected to be his girl friend," a part of Olayinka's statement on Facebook read.

In a swift reaction to the viral reports, the CEO of Ebony life TV, Mo Abudu through her lawyer has issued a statement saying it's all lies.

According to the press statement; 'Mo Abudu did not receive any apartment as a gift from Hon Rotimi Amaechi or any other person. Rather the apartment was purchased by our client in the open market and for fair value'.
