According to media reports, a pregnant woman as well as her six children were discovered in a mutilated state by the Russian police in Nizhny Novgorod, east of Moscow.  Their bodies were reportedly dismembered, hacked into different pieces with an axe and packed in plastic bags.

The police officers who had to break into the family flat through a window, linked the brutality to their father, Oleg Belov, 51.

Locals said the father had been ex-communicated from the Seventh Day Adventists religious group for allegedly committing adultery, according to major Russian news website LifeNews.

The children were named as Alyona, 7, Fyodor, 6, Sonya, 5, Nikifor, 3, Ilya,2, and Daria,1.

Their mother was named as Zinaida, a lecturer in advanced mathematics at a local university. The crime was uncovered following an alarm from the kids' school authorities following their absence for over a week. Investigations have been launched into the case and it is assumed that the deceased pregnant woman could have been trying to deny the monster husband of paternal rights.

There have been varying reports about the location of the man as some claim he is currently at a mental home receiving treatments while some neighbours claim he visited the house shortly and left for an unknown location.
