The unqualified medical professional who administered drugs to late Senator Isiaka Adeleke when he complained of leg pain early Sunday morning has been allegedly arrested.

Recall that we
reported late on Monday that the Osun West Senator, Isiaka Adeleke, who died suddenly on Sunday in Oshogbo, the Osun State capital, was killed by an overdose of painkillers administered to him by an unqualified medical practisioner.
The Senator received the medication following complaints of serious pain in his legs at the beginning of day-long political rally and meetings as the late Senator recently began preparations to run for governor in the state in 2018.
According to a new report by DailyPost, Dr. Ade, who treated the late politician early on Sunday morning, has been arrested for interrogation by the operatives of the Nigerian Police.
One of his aides who made the confirmation to newsmen, said the doctor was arrested on Monday, following the report that Adeleke died as a result of an overdose of medications he administered on him.
This is as the report of the post mortem is being awaited as the result will not be made public anytime soon due to the sensitive nature of the situation.
Many still believe that the late politician was poisoned, insisting he was hale and hearty on Saturday during the social functions he attended as he was also said to have received guests until around 2:00am on Sunday before he slept.
As at press time, the police in Osun State have neither confirmed nor refuted report of the doctor’s arrest.
