A huge python snake has met its untimely death in the hands of some locals after it was caught swallowing a fowl.

A huge python snake has met its end in Sango Ota area of Ogun state after it was caught by some residents swallowing a fowl in broad daylight. The residents ambushed the snake while in the act and killed it.
The dead snake which was long and huge was displayed for people to see. The person who shared the photos said that they would later prepare the snake for peppersoup.
"Today in my compound, we saw this swallowing chicken and all the boys came out and killed it... Pepper soup loading!" the man who shared the photos wrote.
