FG Launches Made-in-Aba Mosquitoes Nets

The Nigerian government has moved to contain the surge of malaria by tackling the causative agents with locally-made materials.

The Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole has launched a made in Aba Insecticide-Treated Nets on Wednesday to commemorate the world malaria day.
 
The minister, who tweeted this on his Twitter handle, said he is delighted to launch the made-in-Aba Insecticide-Treated Nets alongside the Executives of Tana Netting, Rosies Textile Mills and Prezzo Shed Invest.
 
The world malaria day which is usually marked each year on April 25, was themed this year, ‘END MALARIA FOR GOOD’.
 
With report from to the world malaria report 2016, revealing that in 2015, there were 212 million cases of malaria worldwide and between 2010 and 2015, there was global decrease in malaria incidence, then between 2010 and 2015, there was decrease in global malaria mortality rates.
