A commercial motorcycle operator plying his trade in the Mushin area of the financial hub of Nigeria, Lagos has gruesomely lost his life.
The gory accident scene
Some of the street urchins aka Agberos collecting diverse rates on road usage at Daleko Market, Lagos have reportedly chased a young Okada man to his abrupt end.
Reports gathered on social media reveal the Okada operator was attempting to evade the payment of his daily rates when he ran under the moving truck and was crushed to death.
The accident scene has been cleaned up by the officials of the LASEMA Response Unit, an emergency and accident management body in Lagos.
An eye witness has this to say:
'I think is high time the government remove all agberos in this country.. Am one of the eye witness. It's happens around Daleko market mushin. Immediately the Okada sight the agberos he ran away and needed to overtake the container. But luck was not on his side.. May his gentle soul rest in peace.'
