BREAKING News: Senator Adeleke Didn't Eat at My Grandmother's Burial - APC Chairman Opens Up

As controversy continue to trail the sudden death of Senator Isiaka Adeleke, the All Progressives Congress chairman in Osun West Senatorial District has opened up on a reported allegation.

Speaking while giving evidence before a coroner ordered by Gov. Rauf Aregbesola to probe the cause of Senator Isiaka Adeleke's death on Monday, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun West Senatorial District, Amobi Akintola, revealed that the late lawmaker did not eat any food at the burial of his grandmother, Late Bilikisu Salimonu, on April 22.
 
According to the influential politician, the late Senator attended the burial ceremony in company with about 30 political aides and allies, adding that those, who came with Adeleke ate but their principal did not eat the food they were served.
 
Punch newspaper reported that the witness told the coroner that he served Adeleke Remmy Martins, but the senator brought his own Remmy Martins from his vehicle which he drank together with his friends.
 
The Chief Medical Director of Biket Hospital, Osogbo, Dr. Adebisi Adenle, also said Adeleke was brought to his hospital dead on April 23.
 
He said he was brought to his hospital around 10:15am and he pronounced him dead.
 
Adenle told the coroner that he asked the family to take the corpse to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital morgue because his hospital did not have mortuary.
