A male student in Nigeria is reportedly in Police custody for breaking up with his girlfriend.

A court in Sokoto State has remanded a student in prison for jilting his girlfriend.
This was revealed in a tweet by Imam Imam, the Special Adviser on media and publicity to Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal.
Imam also noted his disgust for the incident stating that the Police is involved in prosecuting the said case.
