There are indications that the Niger Delta representatives could be sympathetic to the plight and separatist course of the face of the Independent People of Biafra, Mr. Kanu.

Popular Niger Delta activist, Ankio Briggs paid a visit to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu in his Abia home recently.

She is an English-born Nigerian environmental and human rights activist. She is the founder and executive director of non-governmental organization Agape Birthrights.

As of 2011, she was spokesperson of the Ijaw Republican Assembly (IRA) as well as the United Niger Delta Energy Development Security Strategy (UNDEDSS). "Are you in doubt if Niger Delta is part of this struggle for the restoration of Biafra, the piture speal volumes. The build up continues as we shall unleash the venom in no time" were the words of a social media user who shared the news on Facebook.
