The shocking photos of a Nigeria Police officer in Lagos wildly intoxicated by alcohol while on duty in public has gone viral online. The identity of the police officer is not yet known, but the photos reveal his first name is Aminu.
The embarrassment reportedly took place in the Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos on Friday after Jummah prayers, according to

The photos show Aminu being tended to by another police officer while a crowd of onlookers gathered around the law enforcement officer.
The Punch reports that the Lagos State police released a statement saying that in response to the photos, the command had identified the officer in question and commenced an investigation as part of its disciplinary procedures.
