A man has gotten himself in more trouble than he can handle after he was found out to have forced himself on a little girl in Ogun.

Segun Olaseni, a 20-year-old man, has been arrested by police in Ogun State for allegedly defiling a 9-year-old girl at New Life Estate, Sango-Ota.
Daily Post reports that the suspect allegedly committed the crime on May 21 at the girl father’s house in the estate.
The girl’s father, Adepoju Akinyemi, reported the matter at Sango Ota Police Division after he came back and found his daughter in bad condition.
SP Akinsola Ogunwale, the DPO, led detectives to the suspect’s house in the same estate to effect his arrest.
Upon interrogation, Olaseni admitted r*ping the girl.
The suspect explained that on the fateful day, he sneaked into the house and met the girl alone.
He dragged her from the living room to her’ father’s room and defiled her on the man’s bed.
However, the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered the transfer of the case file to Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department, SCIID, for further investigation and prosecution.
The CP decried the careless attitude of some parents towards their children especially female ones and cautioned parents “not to make them easy prey in the hands of devilish people.”
